Recruit Central are currently recruiting for an Experienced Service Manager for our Main dealer franchise in the Gloucester area.
Job Requirements:
- You will need to have a minimum of three years of experience in a retail service department management role within a Main dealer setting.
- You will manage 4 the service advisor team a workshop controller and a team of technicians.
- As a great people manager, you will be able to coach, mentor and motivate the team to achieve targets.
- With motor trade experience you will have a proven record of delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience in the motor trade is required for this role. You must also hold a full uk driving licence.
Main Duties:
- Achieve set agreed targets, plan budgets with the directors and provide managerial guidance within the Service Department to achieve.
- Keep D.O.C. up to date daily and ensure department is on target to achieve or exceed budget.
- Submit and sign off salary submissions for the department.
- In the event of a customer complaint liaise directly with the customer to provide a satisfactory resolution.
- To liaise with the Manufacturer and its representatives to ensure maximum co-operation.
- Ensure adequate control of all sub-contract and purchase invoices, this includes ensuring invoice authorisation is carried out in a timely manner.
- Identify staff training needs to ensure a high level of ability & staff development. Ensuring that the Manufacturer’s training requirements are met.

Basic Salary: £35,000/£40,000 Per Annum (Dept on Experience) plus bonus Ote £55,000 and a company vehicle
Working Hours:
8am - 6pm Monday - Friday
Saturdays 8:30am -12:30pm (Rota Basis)
