We are looking for a HV ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN to join us in our battery build dept here in Staffordshire and be part of the Electric Vehicle future
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
HV Battery Build and sign off, fault finding and Repair on Vehicle High and Low Voltage Systems
End of Line Production Vehicle HV System Sign off
Use of latest HV diagnostic equipment and communication with Electrical Engineers and mechanical build technicians
Prototype HV system Design and build and assist within the vehicle build and electrical team
Working within company and role specific heath and safety requirements
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following.
Relevant Electrical Technician qualifications. Inc experience of Automotive High voltage working
Experience of Practical Electrical Engineering in laboratory or workshop environment
Proficient with Computer based software tools
Good understanding of Electric Vehicle or Hybrid Electric Vehicle Architectures
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and Wiring diagrams with attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously when required
You will be required to hold a UK driving Licence
Willing to travel overseas if required. (fully company expensed)
Candidate Preferred requirements
Experience in vehicle maintenance or manufacturing environment
Valid IMI Electric Vehicle Qualification to Level 2/3 or Level 4 (preferred).
However training will be provided where required for the correct candidate.
The salary for this role is experience dependent in the field and ranges between £34,000 - £42,000
This is Monday to Friday role of 37.5 hours
