Responsibilities:
- Performs inspections and tests planned to monitor specific EHS issues, regulations and company practices
- Assists in training employees on EHS guidelines, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to EHS
- Making and maintaining necessary EHS records according to established guidelines
- Contributes to the development of EHS policies and procedures
- Support with site wide general learning and development activities including creating training material, delivering training and sourcing external training
- Help to maintain site training records and to complete regular audits on these
- Supporting with physical site security processes and controls
- Supports the EHS management with any occupational health requirements
- Supports with site CSR and sustainability requirements
- Participate in incident investigations based on incident classification in partnership with specialists internally and externally or regulatory authorities to identify the root cause and help prevent recurrence
- Complete EHS, ISO 14001 and security audits as required by site processes and policies
- Responsible for ISO compliance, Corporate EHS standard and compliance with all applicable local, state and federal environmental regulations including documentation, reporting, permits, manifests, etc
- Maintain a current working knowledge of H&S regulations and laws to provide expertise for H&S assessments, capital projects, work orders, and general H&S related problem solving at the site, regional and corporate level as needed.

- Level Working Knowledge or PPE, COSHH, Risk Assessments, PUWER, Legal Requirements, Training, Waste Management, Sustainability, Contractor management, Cranes and lifting devices, Incident management, MHE, LOTO and high risk activity e.g working at height
- Ability to prepare processes for emergency situations according to EHS, security and emergency requirements
- Conducts risk assessments to identify hazards in the business, work areas and work processes. Included general, PUWER, Noise, Ergonomics and Vibration
- Ability to review am incident to identify root cause and identify ICA, ECA and PCA control measure
- High level working knowledge of Microsoft Office and competent with the use of a computer and electronic devices
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum required is a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Member of IOSH
Salary: £30,000-£36,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday- 7:15am until 4:30pm, Fridays off.
