We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service / Aftersales Manager for our client in Romford, we're looking for someone to oversee the Workshop and manage a team of Technicians and Aftersales Advisors.
Responsibilities of the Service Manager:
- Oversee the daily activities of the workshop, including loading, job allocations, quality control, and efficiency.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining excellent communication.
- Control work in progress
- Lead and support a team of skilled technicians and service advisors, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain the highest standards of service and quality in all workshop operations.
- Manage parts orders, ensuring availability and timely ordering.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements of a Service Manager:
- Proven experience in a workshop management or senior aftersales advisory role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair processes.
- Proficiency in workshop management software (preferably CDK, Keyloop, Kerridge)
